Unique Toyota short wheelbase Coaster bus with 4x4conversion.
Fully engineered and with Victorian RWC.
This vehicle can comfortably cruise on 110 on the freeway at about 1850 RPM with its 5.9 litre Cummins Turbo Diesel engine and 5 speed automatic transmission.
Average fuel use is 16 to 17.5 L/100k but has achieved figures as low as 14.5L/100k on extended freeway travel.
This vehicle is not a ‘soft roader’ or an ‘all-wheeldrive’ this vehicle can take you to serious destinations.
It is ideally suited to touring being very comfortable on extended trips and with enough fuel capacity to take you approx 1400 k’s without re-fuelling.
The bus has been converted to 4x4 for 5 years but I have been modifying it and improving it constantly.
I have put at least the equivalent of 2 years full time work into the conversion, fit-out and custom made accessories.
At the price I am selling for it is a bargain.

T/Case- NP 273 which has been converted to cable shift instead of electronic control
High range is 1:1, Low range is a very powerful 2.72:1
Front Diff - Dana 60, 6000lb rating, 9.75" ringgear, 35 spline
Rear Diff - Ford Corporation - Visteon 6200 lbs, full floating, 3.5" tube, 10.5" ring gear, 35 spline
Diff ratio is 3.73, 17x7.5 OEM alloy wheels, 8 on 170PCD.
Custom valved Koni shocks to front, twin Rancho 9000 adjustables to both sides of rear axle
Airbags also fitted between rear leaves & chassis
